A Lot to be Thankful for

A New Year is about to start, and I am so thankful for so many things in my life. I am very appreciative that I got to enjoy visiting my grown sons and their families. I especially enjoyed visiting my three grand children. Taylor is almost 6 and his little sister is 3 ½.

And they got a new cousin born November 8th, and we all got to spend Christmas together. My newest grandchild is a wonderful healthy little boy who loves to be held, and I sure enjoyed holding him. Nothing is more wonderful than having a baby fall asleep in your arms. (Especially if he is your grandchild!) I loved being a mother, but being a grandmother is so much more delightful for many different and rather obvious reasons.

When I was a new mother, I found those times very magical, but lack of sleep and responsibility of a new little one tended to make it more stressful for me. These times of being a grandma, really make my heart sing. I only wish I lived closer, but I guess that makes me more appreciative of the times I do get to see them.
Wishing you a very wonderful New Year Eve's!!!
