Dear Sweet Child, Haven’t you ever successfully changed your mind about something, and watched it then be demonstrated in your life?
You mean like when I started to believe that I can do something, where before I didn’t think I could, and the more I believed I could do it, the more it happened.
Yes, this is one way to create a new operating belief. It’s like your saying, "fake it until you make it". For awhile, you may not think it is true, but the more time and energy and focus you give something, the more it will start to be demonstrated in your lives, and then you can start to know it is possible. The most challenging part is when it hasn’t been demonstrated yet, because the old belief may still be bringing in what it had created. If one is persistent with giving the new belief lots of focus and attention, and finding examples out in the world to reinforce it, the sooner the new belief will start being demonstrated in your life.
What about new ideas, like inventions, where there are no examples to believe in?
In regards to inventions, where it has never been demonstrated before, it maybe more of a challenge to hold fast to your new idea, but giving it the focus and attention it needs will help it along. Remember Thomas Edison who invented the light bulb. He had a belief that it could be done, and had around 1,000 attempts that did not work, until it finally did. That is persistance.Repetition of the new idea, even when you don’t really believe it for sure, can give you the ability to override the old belief. Patience and trust is very important in regards to this process.
Isn’t what I do with hypnosis, can help get those new ideas into the subconscious and over ride those old core beliefs?
Yes, this is an easy way to reach those core beliefs, both in discovering them, and adding new beliefs to operate with. That is why you are so interested in this topic and are asking questions about it. Because you want to learn all you can about this subject
Yes, I am very interested in this subject, both to help myself and to help others. Thanks.
